Most large US engine remanufacturing are 3 months behind production schedules.
There is a shortage in the US of V8 crate engines.
I have tried to bridge the gap, but demand is very high, and my time in short supply.

I first arrived in California in 1981.
Forty years later I have built many V8 engines from recon to exotic boosted EFI.
I can advise on an appropriate engine combination, or assembly the build you desire.
Custom engines can take months to build.
A crate engine is a "cookie-cutter" or repeat formula combination, nothing wrong with that, but I don't build such engines.
I had been suppling ATK crate engines, but ATK is still catching up.
An Australian company is bringing a limited number of crate engines in from the largest US V8 crate engine builder.
I am a distributor for them and others and my price is lower.
However, there are currently substantial production schedule delay with the large remanufacturers.
This is due to multiple shutdowns reducing inventory for hard parts.
A crate engine you could purchase and have within a few days now takes a few months.
